Grace and Lily - 4 month stats

So the girls are almost 5 months old now and I didn’t get around to blogging about their progress at 4 months. We were a little busy between packing up/selling our condo, getting everything done to buy a new house, and then moving to CT (where we lived without power for almost a week). Safe to say things have been a little crazy for our family. Cole and the girls love being at Grammy and Papa’s house but it has been a challenge living out of suitcases and dealing with the lack of a real schedule. 

At their 4 month check up both girls gained weight and some length, though Grace is still in the 2nd percentile. Lily weighed in at 11lbs 15oz and is 23.5 inches long. Grace weighed 10lbs 4oz and is 22.5 inches long. As you can see they continue to be about a pound apart as they were throughout the pregnancy.

At 4 months Grace was able to roll over from her back to her stomach and once or twice rolled consecutively. Lily could roll from her stomach to back.

Both girls have discovered their hands and like to chew on them resulting in lots of drool! Grace has been grabbing at her feet for a few weeks and Lily has just started this. Lily has become much more settled and enjoys spending time on the play mat. She is easily entertained by the hanging toys and is able to reach for them. Both girls can grab at a toy, hold it, and bring it to their mouth. 

Lily was the first to start laughing when tickled.  It is a deep, throaty laugh that brings a smile to my face. Grace has just started to laugh more and will even start to laugh before she is tickled!
